What happened
Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) investigated travel-associated Legionnaires' disease at Las Vegas casino hotels. The three cases and zero deaths recorded here are SNHD's investigation at The Grandview (9940 S. Las Vegas Blvd.): one guest who stayed in February 2025 and two who stayed in April 2025, all hospitalized. SNHD is separately investigating two travel-associated cases tied to the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa (stays in August 2024 and February 2025, both recovered), where multiple water samples tested positive for Legionella; SNHD states the two investigations are unrelated, and those South Point cases are not included in the counts above. Both properties conducted water system remediation and follow-up testing. Figures are provisional.
